Tuition Assistance

A quality, Christ-centered education is financially available to most anyone who desires it.

Through our robust financial aid program, a quality Christ-centered education is available to most anyone who desires it. Affordability should not deter families from applying for admission to the school. Most people find that, with financial aid, they are able to comfortably afford an NHCS education for their child. In 2010-2011, approximately one in two students received need-based tuition assistance, ranging from 5 - 85% off tuition.

The NHCS college-style family need-based tuition assistance program provides financial aid on a sliding scale, and families earning substantial incomes are often surprised to learn that they qualify for assistance if they have multiple children enrolled in the school. As a school, we are also sensitive to the fact that a loss of income or a temporary increase in expenses can be difficult to manage. Therefore, high income earning families who have experienced a temporary family hardship will likely qualify, and are encouraged to submit a letter of explanation with their applications for assistance.

It is also important to note that the school's tuition is inclusive. Field trips, yearbooks, student activities, athletic fees, and other incidentals that are typically paid throughout the year at other schools are included in our school's tuition. In turn, these charges are subject to tuition assistance. Current rates of tuition are contained in the school's application packet.

Financial aid is awarded on an annual basis, requiring annual re-application. The process—which is processed by an off-site, third-party agency—is strictly confidential. Visit the FAST website to apply today.  Please note that, because this application is processed by a third party, there is a modest fee to cover the expense of processing.

Please note: Your application will be processed by FAST only after you have submitted your state and federal income tax forms, as well as your W-2 forms.  The first awards for tuition assistance for new families will be made on or before May 15.  Applications received by the first of each following month will be processed on the 15th of that month.  However, applications must contain all of these items before they will be processed.
