As a faculty member at a private liberal arts college, JULIE CHAMBERLAIN appreciates both the academic rigor and spiritual foundation that North Hills provides to students at every level. She and her husband, Eddie, selected North Hills for daughter Anna (eighth grade) based upon the nurturing and challenging environment that would help their daughter reach her highest potential academically, socially and spiritually. "Anna's progress at the middle school level has exceeded our expectations - we are convinced that we made the right choice for our daughter by giving her the opportunity to thrive in a Christian environment."
MARY ANN CODY joined our school board in 2007. Together, she and her husband, Ed, have three children: Abbey (eighth grade), Will (sixth grade), and Caroline (second grade). When asked what people should know about her, Mary Ann said, “I love Jesus, and I love my children. I believe in the mission of North Hills Christian School, and my hope is that my tenure on the board will be fruitful and for His glory.”
RANDY HEMANN and his wife, Paula, have had their son, Preston, at North Hills since first grade. They feel blessed that Salisbury has a school where Christ is King and children are loved and taught the Truths of God's Word. Randy joined the board in 2008 and enjoys seeing God complete His vision for our children and our school.
After several years of work on the NHCS finance committee, BRIAN MILLER joined the board in 2007. Brian and his wife, Amy (a member of the school’s education staff), have enjoyed witnessing the difference the school has made in the lives of their three children – Harper (seventh grade), Jane (fifth grade) and Christian (second grade). “My kids are getting everything they need from an academic perspective, and they are also being taught a biblical worldview that will guide them long after they’ve left this place. It’s exciting to see what God is doing in their lives and in the life of this school.”
TIM NORRIS, our school board chairman, joined our school board in 2007, also. Together, he and his wife, Leigh Ann, have two children: Mary Scott (eighth grade) and Chris (fifth grade). About North Hills, Tim said, “We are so grateful to God for leading us to enroll Mary Scott and Chris at North Hills. We love this school, the positive impact it has made on so many lives, and we are excited about the abundant blessings God has in store for North Hills.”
