Accounting Assistant Needed by July 2020 – Part-time, flexible hours, 12 months a year. Will assist with QuickBooks responsibilities (i.e. accounts payable, deposits, journal entries, bank reconciliation), payroll (i.e. timecards), FACTS accounts receivable, contribution acknowledgement letters, annual audit, and other items as needed. Part Time Spiritual Life Director (K-12)
Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical/Christian Studies or related field, agree to pursue a Masters in Christian Studies, Counseling or related field, hold or agree to pursue an ACSI certification.
Preferred requirements: Masters in Counseling and/or Biblical Studies, MDIV, or Masters degree in related/appropriate field
The Spiritual Life Director should be a visionary Christian leader with strong organizational and communication skills who is also passionate about Christian education. The Spiritual Life Director reports to the Executive Director of the school and is charged with the comprehensive responsibility for all spiritual activities, spiritual culture and spiritual development of students, faculty and staff. This role is a part-time, 9 month commitment. Specific responsibilities include the following:
To arrange and/or supervise the production of chapel services for elementary, middle and high school
To oversee and execute the yearly high school retreat
To oversee and execute elementary and middle school spiritual emphasis weeks
To oversee and execute the yearly campus-wide prayer walk at the beginning of the year and collaborate with administration regarding the prayer-buddy program
To oversee the development and implementation of K-12 Bible curriculum
To update community service requirements and regulations and communicate those to Bible teachers and families
To oversee spiritual and leadership development of high school house leaders
To serve as a consultant to faculty and staff in their spiritual development
To oversee weekly faculty and staff devotions and small groups as well as monthly spiritual discipline implementation
To vision cast and communicate the school’s yearly theme and supervise its implementation
To assist in the high school admission process as an interviewer
To develop and maintain a network of counselors and pastors in the area
To resource the school’s constituents with referrals to outside counseling services
To counsel students and staff regarding spiritual, social and emotional matters when needed
To co-lead the biblical advisory council
To attend what-to-expect event and high school preview night events to share about spiritual life at NHCS
To assist in the planning and execution of the yearly administrative retreat
To organize and oversee classes for parents and families (ex. Loss 101)

Marketing and Communications Director
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or communications or related field. Three years’ experience in a similar marketing and communications role.

The Marketing and Communications Director should be a visionary marketing leader with strong organizational and communication skills and passionate about Christian education. Marketing and Communications Director reports to the Executive Director of the school and is charged with the comprehensive responsibility of developing and executing an internal and external marketing plan, as well as a communications plan. This role is a full time, 12 month commitment. Specific responsibilities include the following:
-Responsible for all internal/ external communications – including but not limited to
- School Newsletter
-Articles for media outlets
-School related events
-Marquee- weekly/ depending on events, etc.
-Family, student, faculty and staff communications
*Event planning for campus events
-Campus marketing pictures, campus wide student pictures
-Weekly scheduling of upcoming events
-Communication database updates, website maintenance and updates
-Crafting vision and working with external videographer for internal and external marketing videos.
-Supervising work load and work streams for communications assistant
