Tuition Assistance

2019 - 2020 Tuition Assistance

Through our tuition assistance program, a quality Christ-centered education is available to most anyone who desires it. Affordability should not deter families from applying for admission to the school. Most people find that with tuition assistance they are able to comfortably afford an NHCS education for their child.

The NHCS college-style need-based tuition assistance program provides financial aid on a sliding scale.  Families are often surprised to learn they qualify for assistance, even when they have multiple children enrolled.  We are also sensitive to the fact that a loss of income or a temporary decrease in expenses can be difficult to manage.  For this reason, we encourage any family who has experienced a temporary hardship to send a letter of explanation along with their application for assistance.

Tuition assistance is awarded on an annual basis.  Each new school year will require a re-application and assessment.  The Financial Needs Assessment, which is processed by a third-party agency (FACTS), is strictly confidential. Visit the FACTS website today to apply.  Please note that FACTS charges a $35 non-refundable application fee payable by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, and American Express).  If you do not have a credit card, you may pay the fee at the school.  Please contact Lori Pittard, at 704-636-3005 ext. 111.

Your application will be processed by FACTS only after you have submitted the required state and federal income tax forms, as well as your W-2 forms.  The first awards for new family tuition assistance will be on or before April 15.
For questions concerning the Financial Needs Assessment FACTS application, you may speak with a FACTS customer care representative at 1-866-441-4637.

FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment will be conducting the financial need analysis for the upcoming 2019 - 2020 school year.  FACTS is the same company that does the school’s tuition billing.

All families applying for tuition assistance will need to complete an application and submit the necessary supporting documents to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment.  Apply online by clicking the FACTS link.   If you have a FACTS account, you will need to sign in with your FACTS username and password.

Once an online application has been completed, the following information will need to be sent to FACTS to complete the process:

  • Copies of your 2018 Federal tax forms including all supporting tax schedules

  • Copies of your 2018 W-2 forms for both you and your spouse

  • Copies of supporting documentation for Social Security Income, Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps, Worker’s Compensation and TANF

All supporting documentation can be uploaded in pdf format online.

Documentation can also be faxed to 866-315-9264 or mailed to the address below.  Please be sure to include the applicant ID on all faxed or mailed correspondence.
