Greetings North Hills Families,

Unfortunately, COVID-19 is having an IMPACT on IMPACT.

I wanted to let you know as soon as possible that we have made the decision to postpone our annual IMPACT event until Thursday, May 7th. There are a couple of reasons for our decision.

First and foremost, the safety and health of our community is our top priority. The IMPACT event would have been a large gathering of all ages of people and heath conditions. All of our government agencies and health experts are strongly discouraging large assemblies of people. We wanted to do our part to help stop the spread of this virus and protect our community.

The second reason was our ability to secure an alternate day with our primary service partners, primarily our caterer and sound/lighting people. As more events are being canceled, our concern was that we would be unable to secure a date within the school year that would work for our key partners; therefore, we decided to proactively address the issue before other events started rescheduling.

Finally, we wanted you to be able to plan ahead as much as possible.

While we realize the alternate date may not work for everyone, we are hopeful you will be able to re- schedule. We have a wonderful evening planned. I know if you are able to attend, you will leave feeling encouraged by what you have seen and heard. Your support of our mission and our corporate sponsors is critical to ensure our success, now more than ever!

Please continue to pray for all aspects of this situation. We know God is always in control and has a mighty plan.

Maria Lowder,

Executive Director, NHCS
